Our Adult program teaches practical self-defense moves, katas (detailed patterns of movement), and sparring using the styles of American Kenpo Karate as influenced by Ed Parker and the Tracy Brothers.
Our program is designed to get you moving, whether you’re a beginner, have some dance background, or are a well-trained dancer. Our goal is to work your body as well as your mind.
Our adult sports leagues bring the fun, the passion, and the excitement you crave on the court or on the field. Stay fit and stay young with Adult Basketball leagues.
Community Fitness Fridays, partnered with Delaware Special Olympics, is a free volunteer-supported program here at HAC that gives people with special needs or disabilities an opportunity to establish good exercise habits.
We are a high energy, social group of runners of various abilities with the goal of getting the most we can out of our sport. Up your level of training, add diversity to your workouts, and have a little fun while you're at it.
U.S. Masters Swimming is a team environment for the intermediate to advanced adult swimmer who wishes to continue their competitive abilities. Great for those looking for a low-impact, coached group workout.
American Red Cross certifications are available at HAC. We offer courses such as Babysitter's Training, Lifeguard certifications, and First Aid, CPR, & AED Training.
